I want to thank again the greatwallforum as they provided me some help for the tracks : I needed to divert a little from the Great Wall because of a forbidden military area, making me run through villages and shruberries… A bit difficult to find his way without a local guide, or a gps track!

What is my feedback after this run? Hard enough. Climbing, descending, all the time. High slopes, all the time. Stairs, broken steps, all the time. And warm air, to make it worst…

But what can you think when you are on top of a hill, with no-one in front of you, no-one behind you… You are alone in the Big China !

De retour de Pékin après quelques jours là-bas, avec le plein de photos dans mon appareil, et plus encore dans ma tête…

Je remercie de nouveau greatwallforum pour leur aide dans la préparation de la route : je devais quitter la Muraille à cause d’une zone militaire interdite, faisant un détour de quelques kilomètres à travers villages, jardins et forêt. Pas évident sans guide ni gps.

Alors quelles sont mes impressions après ce trail? Dur, dur. Montées, descentes, tout le temps. Pentues, toujours. Des escaliers en morceaux. Et une chaleur étouffante…

Mais quel bonheur lorsqu’on se trouve tout en haut d’une colline, avec personne devant, personne derrière… avec le sentiment d’être tout seul au beau milieu de la Chine !
