THE FUJI MOUNTAIN RACE 富士山
The Fujisan (3776m) is the Japan’s highest mountain. It’s a dormant volcano, last erupted in 1708. Climbing the Fujisan is very popular, but usually start from the 5th Station, which means a total climb of 1500m, and 7-10h of ascent time.
The Fuji Mountain Race is a 21km run from the bottom to the top, for a total ascent of 3000m.
