Hong Kong, «the fragrant harbour» in Cantonese, is a special administrative region of China, located on its south coast, near Macao. Hong Kong’s terrain is hilly to mountaineous with steep slopes. There are more than 7600 skycrapers, as the city is one of the world’s leading international financial centers, but 30% of the area is reserved as country park and nature reserves.

The Hong Kong Trail is 50K long and crosses the entire island from west to east. I ran the entire trail in about 6h (I had to take pictures !!!)

(As the weather was mostly cloudy with a poor visibilty, I cheated by adding photos taken earlier in march during a reconnaissance).
